I am highly committed to my duties and my job. I could describe myself as an engaging, open-minded, highly motivated and organised person. I think it is very important to be positive, as that is what really inspires people in general. Responsibility is for me another important element when holding a job. I adapt quickly to new work environments and I also work quite well under pressure. I do not mind being a part of a team or working independently.

Teaching experience
2010 (From Janaury to May): Spanish review lessons for University and secondary school students.
I worked as a Spanish tutor at X (Universiti) offering review lessons for University and secondary school students. I have some experience in lesson management as well as lesson planning and assessment. Students were extrinsically motivated as they only had as a single purpose to pass their Spanish language subjects.
From January 2012 to May 2012: English review lessons (individual lessons).
I offered individual and personalized English review lessons on basic English grammar in X, Spain. These lessons were one-to-one lessons for a student who had some problems and difficulties on English language and who wanted to pass this subject to graduate.
From July to August (2012): Spanish lessons for young learners at X academy in Newcastle.
From October 2012 to May 2013: English oral lessons for the Trinity oral exam. Provider: X.
I prepared a group of kids to pass the Trinity oral exam (GRADE 2); so the lessons and activities were mainly oral and based on interactive games. It was in a Primary School. Age: between 10-12 years old.
From 3rd of July to 19th July: X.
I worked at X for two weeks as an English counsellor teaching English as well as looking after the children who were there. Ages: 8-14 years old.
Languages:
I can speak three languages; these languages are Spanish as my mother tongue, Catalan as my second language (C1 Certifcate from ‘Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements en Valencia’) and third, English as my foreign language whose level equivalence is C1-C2, as I am a graduate in English Studies (BA).
Computer Skills:
I am a computer literate: I have worked with Microsoft Office and Internet Use. In fact, I have a diploma. I know how to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Power Point presentations), as well as e-mail and the internet.
Quick typing.
Interests and pastimes:
I enjoy doing exercise, listening to mantras, trying new things, knowing other cultures, ethnic food, meeting new people and travelling abroad. I consider important to keep fit in order to be healthy. Secondly, I think that knowing other cultures enriches your experience and life. Third, meeting new people is quite interesting because they may bring about new experiences to you in order for you to learn more from them, and finally, I also consider quite interesting and enriching to travel abroad because it is when you face real life and realise that you must keep learning all the time.
I have had a driving license for 9 years.

I can type quickly without looking at the keyboard as I learnt to type when I was studying in primary school.

Estudios ingleses o filología inglesa como se llamaba en el antiguo plan se centra en el estudio de la lengua inglesa, su historia, su literatura, su enseñanza y su traducción (aunque aquí las asignaturas de traducción son más "superficiales".) En cambio, la carrera de Traducción e Interpretación con la especialidad inglés se centra en diferentes tipos de traducción tales como la traducción especializada, doblaje, técnicas de traducción, a parte de englobar más idiomas para estudiar aunque en filología inglesa también se enseña francés (pero no me acuerdo de nada de lo mal que nos lo daban.)
