Idioma What are the benefits of living in big cities, in contrast to rural areas?

I lived all my childhood in a big city, but i also lived on a rural area and a neutral area, or sprawl, as it's call in USA. In my opinion, neutral area is the worst. You have the city close, but many people don't go. You do not have the freedom of the rural area neither the movement of the big city They prefer being at home doing nothing. To live in a rural area you really need to like it, enjoy nature, work on the fields and all that good stuff they do, but is hard if you're not used to it.

It's a good time to improve my English skills, this time i will explain shortly my opinion: Living in big cities allows you to do a big number of activities, which could be more dynamic in order to the size of the city, and also is easier to access to basic services such as education, hopitals, transport...those are the main positive points, but there are also negative ones: life is more expensive (in order of its quality of course) and the existence of a new way of life which can produce stress and other diseases related with health. Here ends my contribution.

in my opinion rural areas are better than cities because in the cities threre are a lot of people, in rural areas you can do whatever you want, the life in the cities is getting worse

In today´s world, a huge number of humans live in cities, more than ever in the history of Earth, the population expansion provoked this situation and the consequences.

The benefits of living in the rural areas are so many, it is a peacefully, with silence surrounding you, more time with your family, you ecological footprint is minimal, and normally, the benefits of your work are for yourself.

As opposed, to the people that live in Big Cities the advantages are absolutely dissimilar, the people have the entire world inn her hands, all the shops, the majority of the jobs, the undergrounds, airports, cinemas, etc.

Indeed, Life in rural areas can be more attractive at first glance, but if you think about it, you can also see that cities have more benefits, and make the existence more effortless. But how it is known, nothing is absolute. Probably, the best choice is to live in a neutral area, with the good of both places, in a small, but modern, city or a rural area near an enormous city.

Rural areas are, in general, conceived as illiterate regions in many American regions, especially if we compare New York to another city such as Portsmouth in Ohio. When I spent nine months of my life as an exchange student, I had the chance to confirm that the American society is, besides, overestimated and overvalued because of the way they are depicted in the movies. Once you go and see, you find tumors hard to be compared to a non-disease-related issue. What about Spain? Concerning Spain, towns such as Chóvar or Alfondeguilla in the Valencian region are full of elders confined in their houses hoping to die soon in order to be able to evade from their surrounding unavoidable concerns about family-related issues. Hence, that my ambitions and concerns are mainly focused on leaving this country to migrate to a more prosperous country in order to make friends and establish new relationships with highly qualified people so that not to fall into a permanent state of sadness and isolation.
